Yeah it sucks to contact one person and finally meet that “one Special Person” that totally bullshitted you and is actually the what the FUCK-happened-to you? standing right in front of you.
This happens probably 80% of the time, if you even get that far and haven’t been seriously trolled, cat fished, or ripped off on many prior promises to meet.
