We are a Team With Different Life Stories…
That pretty much sums it up. We try to survive as all of us do. Our situation is different in that this is OUR Journey not as partners- but as close friends navigating social waters to see what works or doesn’t work in terms of finding intimacy in an on-line world. Something that is not based on a promise or a contract- but lends itself to a hope or a promise that our next relationships are based on honest and negotiated experiences and not necessarily a monetary arrangement or an exchange of benefits.
Whether it is is feast or famine time, the bottom line is to distinguish ourselves apart from the typical quid pro quo relationship that always seems to imply an exchange of resources or power. We BOTH need something more than that- but whether we find it or not is a different story 🙂
