Who is the 3rd FootPrint?

Why do people recall an additional 3rd person(s) when they have spent a day or so partying and bonding with only each other?

It’s not someone that you have a name, face or gender to sculpt together a picture profile of. It’s definitely not a Facebook or TikToc friend. It just remains a vague silhouette of an additional soul(s) combined with a fraternity of vague memories that were a part of last nights social gathering (Spell it with a B– Binge).

A boozy recall that suggests more than just two people participated in this nocturnal soiree’.

And how odd is such a morning-after imprint when recognizing the fact that it was just you and your friend that were physically there, yet there remain three or more sets of footprints?
